Our Kiwanis Kloset provides clothing to school children in need.
Club members volunteer each week to help fill food bags for children in need as part of the Weekend Blessings program.
We sponsor the Key Club chapter at the Massac County High School.

Peanut Day
We hold our Peanut Day “roadblock” fundraisers on one weekend each in September and October. Kiwanis and Key Club members staff two intersections in town and give out Kiwanis Peanuts in exchange for donations. The community has traditionally been very supportive and generous.
Pancake Day
Pancake Day is held early in December at the First United Methodist Church on the same day as the Metropolis Christmas Parade. Key Club members cook pancakes and club members cook sausage and bacon.
Scholarship Spaghetti Supper
The Scholarship Spaghetti Supper is held each year in February or March at the Massac Junior High School.
Superman Bicycle Ride
The Superman Bicycle Ride is held in June in conjunction with the annual Superman Celebration. This event has its own page where riders can register for the event.
